If you work with kids or have kids, you know they need some extra time, especially when it comes to communication. Wait time and silent pauses are okay! Kids process things at different speeds, so if they pause to think or answer a question, give them time! Filling in the blank for them only causes dependancy and frustration. So… let them cook! Welcome to my Speech Room! 💕🥰🎉 I am so excited to share my new clinic space! I’ve been working extra hard these past few months to get things just right for me, my clients, and their families. This space is so special to me for so many reasons, but mainly because it’s the same space my Grandpa ran his Medical practice out of for 30+ years. He is a man of few words but when I showed him how I transformed the space he was so excited and shared memories of the patients he has worked with over the years.
